As I am still a total novice on this front I am going to play a little in blog land. This test is to try the feature of putting a picture right into the text; here goes:

Well that worked!  Yippee, now I just have to remember how to do it for the future. By the way - the picture is of the Costa Verde which will be showing up a lot in this blog until we discover some other cool beaches.

Okay now I am going to try the "cut" feature. So here goes as I share the fun story of our arrival two weeks ago. We arrived sometime after midnight and had the great diplomatic joy of being whisked through customs by an "expediter" from the embassy. We are going to check into this service to ensure that it is available to all of our guests as well when they arrive since the airport is just a bit overwhelming. Among the visitors who had a rough time of it are the kitties. Poor Max and Lucy were in customs a full day longer than expected due to a paperwork problem. All that money and all that time and in the end either Continental Airlines or the Lima airport customs folks mixed up some paper work. But - all is well now and, as you can see, they arrived safely and are shown here settling in with their Papi in our hotel room. .

Bit by bit the pieces will come together but this will be a long immersion process I think.
